About Me
Hello, and congratulations on your pregnancy!
I am Eszter Dobsi. Mother. Wife. Hobby ballet-dancer and founder of PIPI WELLBEING…I‘m so glad you’ve found me.
I am a certified-FEDANT accredited Antenatal/Childbirth Educator based in the United Kingdom (Essex), originally from Hungary-Budapest.
I'm a birth enthusiast with a love for authenticity, raw & real moments and empowering and celebrating those in pregnancy, birth & postpartum.
Initially, I graduated as an “International Relations Specialist” at the University of Economics in Budapest, in 2017 then I moved to the United Kingdom to live with my partner, who since is my beloved husband and father of our daughter.
Everything started back in the very beginning of 2019, when I become pregnant with our baby daughter, and I realised that there is quite a huge gap between the theory and reality of having a baby. During my pregnancy, I was super committed to preparing myself and my partner for the BIRTH of our baby. I really wanted to study and understand the whole process and the work of the amazing NHS midwives.
It really surprised me that after sharing how much I loved going through my own labour & childbirth experience I had so many confused, shocked reactions. People did not understand why or how I could love it so much when they had less than positive experiences. That was when I realised I wanted to help women and their families to LOVE pregnancy, labour and the birthing process.
Coming from a family where we have a Neonatologist Pediatrician Doctor: Dr. Anita Csonka and a student midwife: Dorottya Orban I had the access to address all my questions and concerns…however people don’t always have these kind of opportunities and they don’t have a chance to speak with doctors/midwifes for hours. It made me realise there was a real need for help, support and education. So using my background, set out on a mission to make life easier for parents-to-be, by bringing everything together in one easy-to-digest course. PIPI WELLBEING was born and the response was phenomenal.
I honestly think pregnancy as well as giving birth is one of the most amazing phenomenon in the world. I truly believe that people can prepare for birth and baby- physically and mentally whatever the outcome will be. KNOWLEDGE is POWER! The right knowledge can change birth experiences in a good way… I’m here to share all my secrets to help you get the positive birth experience you truly deserve.
So how can I help you to get yourself prepared?
When it came to preparing for my own birth, I had an in-depth understanding of the mechanisms of birth, hospital protocols, and medical procedures, but I needed a way of understanding myself. This body, this baby! We had never done this before… I can never emphasize enough that birth is not only unique but unpredictable…WE ARE ALL UNIQUE… This will be YOUR special birth, YOUR special story, and YOUR baby! I am here for you to help trust in the process and trust in your body, trust the support teams and healthcare professionals and allow birth to unfold however it goes.
So whether you’re feeling a bit nervous after hearing the horror stories that the media shares or following on from a difficult experience yourself, or simply keen to find out exactly how you can go into birth with the knowledge to remain calm, comfortable, and empowered, then here-at PIPI WELLBEING-is a great place to start! With my in-depth knowledge of navigating across the maternity system & supporting women to prepare for birth and for the 4th Trimester, I found myself creating the unique PIPI WELLBEING programme.
I truly think birth is a magical thing, and parenthood is one of the most rewarding periods in our life…so give yourself a chance to be prepared mentally as well as physically and be educated to know your options and to feel confident & empowered in your decisions.
What is Antenatal Education? Why is it beneficial practically?
Antenatal/Childbirth educators as professional sources of information, with skills to support for parents as they prepare for pregnancy, labour, birth, and parenthood. I believe that childbirth educators positively impact birth outcomes and parent satisfaction. The childbirth educator focuses on wellness, health-promotion, and self-involvement, as well as knowledge of informed consent, evidence-based care, and the use of nonmedical and self-care techniques to encourage a “normal”=less intervention, physiologic, pregnancy, labour, and birth.
If women can be part of any decision making during the birthing process, she will feel much better afterwards, even though she might have experienced any kind of interventions. It really is being part of the decision making process that is empowering and helps women through the experience.
